Step Step Viewer

Step Step Viewer is a Palm OS step viewer for dancing games such as StepMania. You can use it to view general information about song steps or examine the actual steps on your pda. Step Step Viewer displays bpm, difficulty, so called groove radar values and max combo for each song, difficulty and style. Both single and double styles are supported. It can also attach a small text note for each song. You can view the steps graphically in two different views. An overview which shows steps as very small arrows but can almost fit a whole song on one screen. Or you can tap the screen in the overview mode to zoom at the tapped location and view the steps in more detail.

Step Step Viewer is Open Source and is made available under the GNU General Public License.

Requirements

• A handheld device with Palm OS 3.5 or newer and capable of at least 16 shades of gray.
• On your handheld, 33KB of free memory for the application and approximately 1-10KB of free memory per each song stored.
• On desktop computer, Java Runtime Environment 1.4 or newer. This is for the PDB Tool application used to convert your song files in a suitable format for the Palm application. Available here.
• Some dwi song files (used commonly in many dancing games). In the future, Step Step Viewer might support other formats also.
